The Saturday Morning Adventures ongoing series has launched, and as I write this, I've just started the script to issue #10... a three parter that'll reunite me, Dan Schoening, and Luis Antonio Delgado.
As was announced at San Diego Comic Con, I'm also reteaming with Mateus Santolouco on a spiritual sequel to the Secret History of the Foot Clan -- the Untold Destiny of the Foot Clan! We're focusing on Karai and her inner circle back in Japan, facing a new threat. I just saw a design for the cover to issue 2, and it has energized me. Can't wait to get into issue 3...
I'm keeping up on Downside over at my patreon, have been working on a couple of spec comic scripts and pitches, and (always) staying on the hunt for more. Midwestern as I am, I'm happiest to be working like crazy.
I'll be at DragonCon in a couple of weeks and I'll be bringing limited stock of comics and I'll be sketching. I haven't officially tabled at a con since 2019, so I know I'm a bit rusty... but come say hello anyway when you're done chatting with superstar Erica Schultz, who is tabling right to my left.
Sadly, I can't make NYCC this year. Things didn't line up like I'd hoped -- but I do hope to get to New York again sometime soon.
